Chief Investment Officer and Deputy CEO
Mouhammed is deputy Chief Executive Officer and Chief Investment Officer for Kleinwort Hambros heading up the investment management team. He is responsible for all aspects of the investment proposition, leading a team of experienced investment strategists and portfolio managers. He also co-chairs the Global Investment Committee for Societe General, Kleinwort Hambros’ parent company.
He is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, and a regular contributor to the media. In the past few years, the investment team has secured a number of industry awards and accolades for excellence and investment performance including Investment Team of the Year.
Previously, Mouhammed was Head of Multi-Asset Class investing at Morgan Stanley for Europe, Middle East and Asia, where he was responsible for managing portfolios for private (UHNW individuals and family offices) and institutional (endowments, charities) clients. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2002, Mouhammed spent his early career in the fixed income division of Citigroup’s investment bank in New York, London and Madrid.
Mouhammed has a Masters in Finance with distinction from London Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree with first class honours from the University of London, King’s College. He is also a CFA charter holder and a member of the CFA Institute.
Mouhammed is a board member and trustee for a number of educational charities, and serves as a school governor at a local secondary school. His personal interests include long distance triathlons, hiking and dance theatre.
