Emma Perez is the Chief Executive Officer of SGPB Hambros in Gibraltar and has a comprehensive knowledge of the banking industry. Emma joined the group in 2001, heading up the finance department in Gibraltar. She was made a director of the Gibraltar entity in 2002 and later become deputy MD responsible for all support functions.
She has held her current role since 2006 and was therefore in situ during the acquisition of ABN Gibraltar in 2008, where she was instrumental in ensuring the full integration of the two businesses.
Emma has previously held the post of president of the Gibraltar Bankers Association and is currently a non-executive member of the Gibraltar Financial Services Commission. A fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants, Emma trained with KPMG before moving to Credit Suisse to pursue her banking career.
She is married and has two daughters who take up all her spare time. Emma was included in the Citywealth IFC Power Women top 200 list for 2015.
