Konstantin Graf von Schweinitz has been appointed as Chairman of SG Kleinwort Hambros. His expertise, deep corporate memory and leadership will play a crucial role in overseeing the performance of the Board to ensure effective governance, whilst supporting the growth and strategic direction of the business. Konstantin is replacing Stuart Barnett, who has held the role of Chairman since 2017 and has now retired.

Konstantin has been a Non-Executive Director for SG Hambros Bank Limited since 2016 and has held a broad range of positions with several financial institutions and as an independent adviser to banks, hedge funds and private equity companies.

Following his appointment, the role of Chair of the Risk Committee will transfer to Anne Ewing, an existing Independent Non-Executive Director with extensive Board level experience, including with Kleinwort Benson Group prior to its legal merger with SG Hambros Bank Limited in 2016. Anne brings many years of experience within the financial services industry, spanning banking, insurance, fiduciary, fund management and financial services advisory.

Joanna Hall has joined SG Kleinwort Hambros as an Independent Non-Executive Director to help strengthen the Board with her digital and marketing expertise. Joanna was previously Independent Non-Executive Director at Brewin Dolphin Ltd and currently serves on two other Boards.  She has over 35 years of experience in financial services, covering business and distribution strategy, proposition development and associated go-to-market activities.

SG Kleinwort Hambros also welcomes Demetrio Salorio, Group Country Head, UK and Ireland, and CEO of Societe Generale (SG) London Branch, to the Board as Non-Executive Director.  Having joined SG Corporate and Investment Banking in 1991, most recently as UK Head of Global Banking & Advisory, Demetrio brings in-depth knowledge, leadership and strategic skills gained during his career.
